BEHRINGER GmbH was founded in 1919 by August Behringer as a mechanical workshop. After World War II, the first hacksaw machine was developed and produced. In 1952, the first own iron foundry was put into operation for the steadily growing sawmill production. Since the development of the first BEHRINGER band saw machine in 1977 and the acquisition of the circular saw specialist EISELE in 2000, BEHRINGER GmbH has been one of the few complete suppliers in the sawing technology market.

The second pillar of Behringer GmbH is its own iron foundry. Some of our own machine production, but mainly customers from German engineering, are supplied by our in-house foundry. From raw castings made from gray or nodular cast iron to ready-to-install components, we deliver everything from one source.
