UNITECH-Maschinen GmbH was founded in 1995 as a service provider for HECKERT machines. Continuous expansion of the service area and the conclusion of a cooperation agreement with HECKERT led to rapid growth of UNITECH.
With the purchase of the production rights for console milling machines from HECKERT, the basis for own machine production was created in 2001. The production rooms were soon too small and a new factory was built in a Chemnitz commercial area in a convenient location on the A72 motorway.
Cooperation was established with renowned partners such as HARDINGE, the market and technology leader in hard turning from the USA, and UNION Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH from Chemnitz. Later, further partnerships with renowned machine manufacturers were added.
In 2012, the connection with HARDINGE GmbH in Krefeld was expanded. UNITECH took over sales and service throughout Germany for BRIDGEPORT machining centers and HARDINGE lathes.
Today, UNITECH-Maschinen GmbH is an established company in the mechanical engineering sector in the Chemnitz region. The field of activity ranges from design, manufacturing and sales to complete service for many types of machine tools. The development of complete solutions, technological advice and user training are also part of the range of services.
